Oh wow.. and it all stemmed from your post about your mild dislike for the holiday? Man, that person needs to get a life.. especially stalking an old blog like that.

I know it still can kinda get to you.. but you’re an awesome person for being the bigger person and just move on.

Msterri - It really is creepy. Mostly though it bothers me because I’m almost 100% sure that it’s someone I know, someone who probably acts all nice and pleasant to my face and then goes home and rips me apart while they hide behind their computer.

I considered using a pen name, but it was my first blog and I was so excited about it that I told everyone I know, which was a mistake I guess.

I’ve never tried using www.whois.net, hopefully that will shed some light on who it is. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hi — I found your blog because you had done an Entrecard drop on me earlier. I just wanted to say this is really creepy. I wonder if you could report the stalker to the ISPs for the various addresses s/he is using? Also, you may be able to track down the owner of the website by looking it up at http://www.whois.net/

I always use pen names on the internet. Not so much because of potential crazy stalkers — I actually hadn’t even thought it through that far — but because I get really bad writer’s block if I’m writing under my own name — like what you are talking about in the beginning of your first paragraph, above.
